In December 2017, Dekscom won the bid for two IP video service quality monitoring system projects of China Digital Media again.

1). Internet Video Quality Monitoring System Project: In order to improve the video quality assurance capability of China Mobile to key operators, China Digital Media will deploy Dekscom E2EAS end-to-end video quality monitoring system in Shaanxi Unicom. In this project, through the deployment of various hard probes (video source monitoring probes, EPG dialing probes, code stream dialing probes) and set-top box soft probes, key indicators of OTT end-to-end nodes are obtained. The key indicators of the set-top box and the Chinese live broadcast source monitoring platform are sent to the Internet video quality monitoring system, and the end-to-end quality monitoring, fault alarm, fault diagnosis and quality analysis are realized through statistics, analysis and correlation of the collected key indicators. Evaluation and other application functions.

2). CDN Video Stream Quality Monitoring System Project: In order to enhance the operation and quality management capabilities of China Digital Interactive TV’s CDN platform, China Digital will deploy Dekscom’s 10 Gigabit EVA high-performance probe and EVAPM probe management platform for a total of 50 Gbps. CDN traffic is monitored for 24×7 video quality. The system will monitor real-time monitoring of China Mobile’s CBR or VBR, different code rate and different encoding format assets, and TCP/UDP-encapsulated transport streams. The video quality of interactive services such as on-demand and time-shift can trigger or send alarm information. The project will build China’s first live network large-flow CDN platform export passive monitoring probe system, which is of great significance for exploring a new generation of high-performance video CDN quality monitoring technology and means.
